Carbon filter
A carbon filter uses activated carbon to remove pollutants and impurities from the air, capturing the microscopic particles inside a porous carbon structure. While such filtration was originally used in filtering water, it’s commonly used in respirator masks.

Air ioniser
An ionic generator sends out ions that attach to harmful contaminants in the air, ultimately weighing particles down to fall to the ground or else trap in them on a collection plate within the filter.

UV/UVGI
Ultraviolet light filters use non-lethal germical radiation, called UV-C light, to deconstruct the molecular structure of viruses and bacteria that pass through the system. These particles are thus rendered harmless to our bodies. These filtration systems are usually installed within existing HVAC systems.

HEPA filters helped lay the foundation for filtration systems in the 1940s, reducing nuclear hazards from the air to protect workers of the Manhattan Project. Since its commercialization, the technology has remained relatively unchanged.

DFS
DFS technology uses electrostatic precipitation and mechanical filtration to capture 99.99% of all particles down to 0.007 micron. It also creates a microstatic environment, preventing microbial growth inside the filter.
